- Ask your employer or learning provider about apprenticeships
To start an apprenticeship, you’ll need to be:
- Over the age of 16
- Living in California, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida
- Not in full-time education
You can apply for an apprenticeship while you’re still at school but you’ll need to be 16 or over to start the apprenticeship.
